Hi everyone,
I'd like to share a stylized catapult animation I did as a post-graduation course work in Seneca last year. Philip Bredehoeft is an wonderful mentor who literally taught me all the fundamentals of understanding the different ways to process an animation work from the scratch. Here I used Driven Key procedure over the catapult handles beside using manual rigging with controllers and joints.
I pick the clash of clan style catapult concept as a reference from Deviant Art. The entire modeling (with hashtag#Maya), texturing (with hashtag#SubstancePainter3d and hashtag#Photoshop), rigging and animation (hashtag#Maya) was done by me.
The final render was taken from hashtag#UnrealEngine4. Hope you enjoy it!
